These beans were grown in the parish of St. Andrew in the world famous Jamaican Blue Mountains. What makes the Jamaican Blue Mountains such an ideal location for coffee production is their rich volcanic soil, cool climate and high rainfall, which all combine to produce a perfect environment for the arabica bean to flourish.
Over the past few decades, this coffee has developed a reputation that has made it one of the most expensive and sought-after coffees in the world.

Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is a globally protected certification mark, meaning only coffee certified by The Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (formerly the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica) can be labeled as such. It comes from a recognized growing region in the Blue Mountain region of Jamaica, and its cultivation is monitored by the Authority.
